" I have just completed building a 5,600 square foot house in Northern California and purchased almost all my fixtures on-line. I have purchased from a number of different suppliers from around the country, and in the process encountered a number of problems--vendors going out of business, incorrect items being shipped, poor customer service, etc. From my experience, Fan C Fans is one of the most honest, reliable and communicative vendors selling on-line and out-of-state. I ordered two high-end Casablanca fans from them. They were diligent in sending me personal receipts and status notifications during the transit process. The fans arrived much quicker than materials often do when ordering with standard shipping on-line (i.e. they arrived within days of ordering). I waited several weeks to open the boxes, as I had to wait for electrician to return to install the fans. Unfortunately, one of the blades that shipped directly from the manufacturer was damaged. I immediately contacted Fan C Fans and they assured me they would rectify it. There was no pointing fingers at me, no accusing me of damaging the blades, and there was no question that they would make sure I received an undamaged item. Within days, I received a new set of blades from the manufacturer, and several follow-up calls and e-mails from Fan C Fans to ensure that they blades were shipped as promised and arrived undamaged. Their diligence in their follow-up was remarkable. I never once doubted that they wouldn't make the situation right.
